Set against the backdrop of beach life, bonfires, and high school culture, Beachwood Charter is the story of teenage Caleche Balin and her squad of friends as they spend one last summer together before parting ways for college. Caught in the middle of her parents’ divorce, she navigates her first love, falls out with her best friend, and grapples with her fear and excitement of being a girl on her own in the world for the first time.
